My daughter bought her first violin from the shop when she was only 4 years old and we haven't stop going there year after year to buy our next size up or for any other problems. We feel lucky to have found this place.

I’ve been coming here for over a year, maybe just under two years now and I cannot, and will not get my eyebrows done anywhere else. Pooja is so lovely, and has a welcoming and personal approach with her customers. Almost everybody is a regular that comes in rather than dropping in for a quick fix - and that says so much!

My job is very stressful , but poja who gives me a wonderful massage every week sets me up for the week ahead. Walked in as my usual massage place let me down , poja accommodate me straight away leaving me feeling fantastic! Great place for a massage, fell asleep a couple of times lol . Let you and family detox from ipad, my 10yr old daughter loves going to waterstones, though we have hundreds of books she insisted on buying another, what a great way to protect book writers and build a generation home library.

This bookshop seems to have a lot of space but it's maybe not used very well. Good selection of nonfiction at the very top of the building but I wasn't impressed with the fiction. It'd the first time I've been in a bookshop in a long time and the fantasy/science-fiction area was pretty tiny. I suppose that's because that market is buying more on Amazon these days. Friendly and helpful staff though. It is a relief to know that there's still a shop you can walk into and get a book though. There can't be many of those these days.

Great bookshop specialising in children's books. The owner is super helpful and really knowledgeable about good books for kids to read. As well as tracking down an obscure book for us he also gave us several great recommendations for our sons. Highly recommended!

Great selection of MG parts on an easy to navigate website with detailed diagrams which are a great help in correctly identifying parts. Some good MG accessories too. I always receive orders the next working day too. Definitely one of the best sources for MG parts in the country.

I have recently been here to install my headlights. The shop, availability of staff and the knowledgeability of their staff is excellent. I didn't have to pre book in during a busy Sunday afternoon. There was this person called Raj, did an excellent job in fitting my left headlight bulb. He is undeniably very talented and passionate about what he is doing. He is a star to Halfords. I used this garage for a major service for my VW Polo and I can say that I am very pleased with the services. My car was collected and dropped off at the time specified and buy welcoming members of staff. I could definitely free the car was running smoother after the service and was pleased to receive a report and video with advisories that planned out what needed to be done over the next 12 months and with costs if I was to do it with them. My car was given a fantastic clean in and out also. Look forward in using them again for my next service.

I recently bought a very nice car from Simon and Phil at SJR Cars, who made the whole process straightforward. Unfortunately, I later found some bodywork corrosion that neither I or they had spotted previously. This is where SJR really stepped-up; they quickly booked me in for repairs and loaned me a decent car too! The work has been done to a very high standard, and I'm impressed by the excellent customer service I've received from everyone at SJR. So, thank you gents - you sell good motors with the highest integrity and I highly recommend you.

Simon and his team are absolutely fabulous. They're honest, reliable and straight talking. A very rare commodity unfortunately in the trade these days. Having been over charged by another garage - I called Simon who broke down everything in a clear and concise manner. The work that was done was impeccable and the car is as good as new. Don't hesitate to give him a call if you need a new car, repairs or advice about selling yours - highly recommended.

I bought an mt125 from West London Yamaha in 2016. I traded this in for an MT07 about 4 weeks ago. I got a super service from Craig on both occasions and got a decent trade-in price. All the staff I have spoken with over the last couple of years are very friendly, polite and helpful !!!

Dear West London Yamaha, I just wanted to say thank you for the whole experience. I was getting my first bike and was extremely nervous and wasn't really sure about the paperwork but you sorted everything out, so all i had to do was get the insurance. There was small hitch with me having EU driving license, which might take longer to get the finance agreed but you managed to chase it down so I could still leave with the bike on Saturday when I came to pick it up. Plus the bike was serviced and cleaned between me paying deposit and coming to pick it up which was really short time. And as bonus your finance program has really good conditions which helped me to be able to get the bike. So thank you very much for everything Karolina

I've taken 3 different motorbikes to them over the last 6 years, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Very down to earth and friendly people and they do the job correct everytime. Had an oil leak on my zx9r, these guys found the source of the leak on my 2 visit, whilst the others were still not sure what was causing it. Still with them and would easily recommend

This shop is awesome!! I was in there the other day and had a good look around the place. I'm very excited to see what the gaming section turns into, already looks and runs amazing yet it's still not finished. The final product is going to be truly one of a kind!! As for the team... I visited here with my daughter in November and we received the most warm and friendly greeting. There were so many beautiful and different things in the shop at very reasonable prices. It's on a lovely little back street and is really worth a visit.

This is an amazing shop in a brilliant location! Happy to find beers like Kernel and BBNO..also beers on tap available to take away! Can't ask for more really. Staff always friendly and welcoming too. May spot a cat sometimes too which completes the atmosphere totally.

Real Ale is, and always has been, a store with an exceptional and ever changing range of beer. Apparently it's now also excellent for wine but I wouldn't be able to comment. The beer range is always diverse with plenty of more niche options such as serious stouts and lambics. Staff are always knowledgeable and helpful, especially Mike who is a leg end.

Had a fantastic experience test riding 2 Giant bikes in store. Frankly, I had gone there to spend some time and glance at the bikes on display, but came out impressed with the range in store and the fantastic bike sale. I strictly had no desire to go above my bicycle budget, but Phil at store was very kind in letting me try some higher end bikes. They give good deals on a sale too. Amazing stuff!

Been to this shop several time and always professional and excellent service. The latest two times 1. Getting both my brakes fixed (one requiring new pads). Suggested i go for coffee. Was done when got back. £14. 2. Took pedals off and pumped up tyres on my kid's first bike. Free. Thanks guys

Normally people get online to complain or 'bash' a business for the service they required- This is the farthest thing from that. I was in the shop today just to pick up a needed part a my bike had a bit of a break down. The mechanic Alex was quick to find me the right part and even made time to do the fix for me. The service was better than 5 stars. It is rare that you encounter someone who truly loves what they do for work and is able to explain things and keep you entertained during the process.

While the latter has the ability to lean on multiple stores to squeeze suppliers, Richmond Cycles is the harbinger of what Local Bike Shops should aspire to be. First and foremost, the staff. Whether it's a friendly hello, leading a shop ride or advising on the best fitting part, the front of house and mechanic team are peerless in creating an environment that's welcoming for those new to the hobby, and cognizant for those who have an established interest. Having used plenty of other bike shops, after my first time in Richmond, I've never been anywhere else for servicing, parts or spares, and when the attitude, facilities and community feel are such a delight, why would you ever think of NOT shopping local!

Really wonderful shop and such friendly staff - so refreshing! I was having some real issues with my gears and thought it was going to cost a lot to sort them out. It turned out to be a simple issue which they were able to fix them without much trouble and for no charge! I was in a rush so didn’t have time to buy anything this time around but I will definitely be back - there was some really nice stuff!

Ok but - closing times are wrong (the store closes at 5 pm not 5.30 as advertised) Also check the kit before loading or delivery - especially if it has an engine. I've had 2 busted bits of kit with engines that could have been checked before they left the shop. Quick to change broken stuff though you may have lost half a days work/hire as a result.

I cant really get excited about garden centres. However, this is a pretty good store with lots of garden-related stock, along with other stuff for the home and even some craft materials. My favourite part of it is the cafe, which has a decent range of food and comfortable chairs.

Fab centre, is actually a fun day out with the kids as there's so much to look at in the shop, the outdoor garden centre and aquarium. Have always found plants bought from here are healthy. Cafe is beautiful too as is the food. Service is great!

We love Squires Garden Centre and Cafe and always enjoy our visits there. The staff are very knowledgeable and will never rush you you when asking for help when choosing plants or flowers for the garden or window boxes. It is also a great place to meet friends for a coffee or lunch and later have a browse around their shop.Perhaps people would enjoy close ups of the plants at Squires, maybe on your next visit there!

Went to David's on two recommendations with a few bits of unwanted jewellery to sell. Had a very pleasant experience with David himself who is a very personable and pleasant man and who went out of his way to help. He even closed the shop late to accommodate my enquiries which I really appreciated. The other staff I spoke to were very friendly and I loved the atmosphere it created. There were beautiful pieces in the window and it was hard not to have a closer look at them. I felt that the few little items I had brought were treated with care and respect even though they weren't worth an awful lot and this put me at ease about selling them. I would definitely visit again as I felt the service was of a very high standard and I was given a reasonable amount for what I had taken in. Thanks again!

This pet shop is a real find! They stock brands that most other pet stores do not like the Wolfe treats which are brilliant and the Ancol harness range which fastens at the top meaning no uncomfortable buckles digging into your dog’s elbows! Highly recommend checking this store out if you are in the area.

Amazing service. Pressure sensor first to see if you have collapsed arches. Then they mold insoles to your feet. Then the staff member records a short video of you running and finds a selection of suitable trainers for you to try on. This process is all free. The best part is you can go for a run in the trainers you purchase, and if they're not for you you can exchange them in the next 30 days - having used them!

I've been using this shop for the past 6 years and never experienced any noteworthy rudeness. I've noticed more recently that the shop is under new management and the staff and manager are honest, genuine and helpful people. Like other customers,I had a problem with my printer ink drying up, but I don't think this is due to their own brand ink cartridges being fraudulent or substandard, it's just what happens in centrally heated homes when you don't use your printer enough? If you don't believe me, you can google it, or you can take your lead from the other pathetic comments left on this site by jumped up parochial weirdos who seem hell bent on destroying their local high street by crushing rather than supporting any local businesses. As for the guy with the great £3 scanner crisis , he needs to get out more (if only to scan out new scanners).... Sheesh.

At first I thought the website and their clothes were too good to be true, but as I opened my package, I couldn't have been more wrong. The quality was amazing, it looks just like the picture and I felt like a princess when I wore it. Would definitely order from them again!
