I've been a member here for a while now and the facilities are brilliant. The Boathouse is nice with a range of sailing dinghies available, though the wind on the river can be hard to read. The pool is good with nice changing rooms as well as a great gym upstairs. You can find Lensbury tennis courts on the grounds and across the road, but you may need to call and book a court if you are going at a busy time. There is a range of different court types from clay to grass. Overall, the Lensbury has great sporting facilities and I imagine I will be a member for a while to come.
Happened to stay here 4 the hottest week in the UK ever (I'm exaggerating a little) and my room and some of my co-workers rooms did not have air conditioning. I also somehow got a bug bite while sleeping. Has some cool recreational things to do like kayaking.

Everything is good only one thing is terribly bad which is you can’t open the window. On top of that the air conditioner is not working as expected. It’s 20 degree outside but you feel like 28 inside. A guy lent a fan for me, that’s helpful but a bit noise during the night. Gym and swimming pool are cool, the room is decent for the price. Don’t understand why they decide to use a glass panel instead of a proper window
Room that we had had door that wouldn't close from outside, broken sink, cold pool and too much chlorine. Breakfast ends too early. 10am. But very friendly and helpful staff. Female Manager was not friendly and was little unprofessional.

Nice rooms. Well decorated. Good facilities. Bed was clean and good enough. Didn't get bitten, like other guests have commented. That's where the positive review ends. Breakfast is not free; see my photo. Carpark is not a car park. I damaged my car getting it up and down the ramp because it was so steep and sharp at the top. See photo; it's just a space to put your car and get charged a tenner for the luxury of doing so. My room had five windows, of which two were skylights and one was a porthole above the two normal windows. This meant that at 5am, I was awake. I woke up at 4am too, when the refuse lorry came to empty the bins which sounded like they were just five feet from my head. Also, they don't have curtains in this room (and possibly others). Just a tilting blind which doubles up as a flyscreen. This does a very poor job of allowing you to wake up when you want to. I had two lamps in my room, one I couldn't reach from the bed and the other had no bulb. WiFi signal poor at the back of the hotel (in my room). They just use a BT home hub, nothing sophisticated. I didn't know there was a bar for the evenings; only found the menu as I was checking out as it was hidden behind the lamp. I really liked the look of the hotel. I was disappointed about my experience. I didn't let reception know as I assumed there wasn't much they could have done at 5am for me.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was brilliant. There's some construction going on at the moment and that limits the hotel's parking. Overall fantastic value.

We stayed nearby and visited The Crown a couple of times - good food, good service, clearly a popular local venue. The indoor space is large and comfortable and the big garden is lovely! It was busy with cyclists and families and friends on the Sunday afternoon that we were there. We stopped by for a late pint and glass of wine later in the week and the garden was quieter. It was nice to sit out in the darkening evening and enjoy the atmosphere.
A huge bar with function rooms and a terrific garden. Very welcoming staff. Good selection of beers. Very good food. Highly recommended.

We had a really nice meal here. A good varied menu with something for everyone. I had two courses off the specials board which were delicious, a really nice T-bone steak, cooked perfectly. Staff were good but some could have been better. Really friendly welcome and bubbly waitress for our initial drinks orders but the main waiter seemed quite disinterested, didn’t particularly engage and we had several of our plates plonked down on the table heavily which wasn’t great. The restaurant itself was very nice, we used to drink here when it was a pub 15+ years ago and couldn’t believe how much it had changed, very nice. Would go again.
Been loads - always great and super friendly. (except the time they gave away our table as we were 20 mins late, wasn't great so I've docked one star for that even though it was at least a year ago) but this is one of those chains that offer really decent scoff entirely cooked on the premises. (See Cote for other restaurant business models)

Lovely pub with great and friendly staff. Great food, I particularly like the Mediterranean veggie sharing board. Good selection of beers too 🍺. Cheers!
Staff are always really friendly, food is great (although a little on the high end price side but worth it) and a huge selection of drinks. Their gin & cocktail menus are really extensive for a relatively small pub. Gets very busy on evenings due to proximity to the station I think. Very glad this is our local! Plus they let dogs in the ground floor - bonus!

Quaint b&b near the airport and minutes walk from the underground. Staff is very friendly.
Excellent value... friendĺy staff, free parking, great breakfast and only a few hundred metre from the tube (West Hounslow, Piccadilly line) I've stayed there a few times recently a would do so again

What a lovely house very welcoming and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money especially considering the location. If you are looking for facilities a top hotel will offer then you are going to be disappointed. However if all you require is a clean house with comfortable beds for an amazing rate and a friendly no fuss landlady then this is the place for you. My partner and I spent 3 nights there culminating in the Rolling Stones gig at Twickenham, Abigails is literally 20mins walk from the Stadium so whether it's Rugby or Gigs this is the place to stay as far as convenience is concerned. So thank you again Kathy we will surely return.
Well decorated, spotlessly clean and warm with an owner who provides a caring welcome to guests, this guesthouse accommodation offers excellent value. There are numerous eating places in close proximity and Twickenham railway station is within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

I stayed here based on the location. It's close to the stadium and station. There are lots of bits to see in the are too. But the place it self was like a one man show. One guy manning the desk, phone, and cooking. Barely saw anyone else. It wasnt 100% clean either. And my room was so cramped and hot. The fan was caked in dust which did play with my allergies. But it was cheap so what more could I ask for?
Very polite and helpful receptionist. The room and bathroom was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The breakfast was very good. Full English. And all this for a very good price. I would highly recommend this guest house as somewhere to stay.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
